Opportunities for Undergraduate Students

Students in Earth System Science gain valuable skills and training, which provide preparation for future career and academic endeavors. ESS undergraduates are frequently recruited for internships, research projects, employment, and scholarships.

Earth System Science Policy:

The Department of Earth System Science will post information about opportunities for UC Irvine students only if:

  • A member of the department is associated or works with the sponsoring organization;
  • The stated mission and goals of the sponsoring organization are compatible with those of the University and the Department;
  • Students in the UC Irvine ESS academic programs are eligible to apply, and would have the necessary expertise and/or knowledge.

All requests for posting are information distribution will be reviewed by the Department for relevance and appropriateness. The Department reserves the right to remove or modify any posts.
