				§  Rainfalls decrease in Central America and southern Andes, §  Rainfalls increase in Tierra and Fuego during winter and in south-eastern South America during summer. §  In northern South America, rainfalls increase in Ecuador and northern Peru but decrease in southern northeast Brazil and northern tip of the continent. § Rainfall changes are uncertain in the Amazon forest.
